YET Programs for Young People

YET Programs 2018

YET Teen is a pre-professional theater institute for our most seriously-minded YETis.  YET Repertory does a one-act play festival, where actors undergo a rigorous rehearsal process to bring contemporary one act plays by master playwrights to performance. YET Teens also create original multimedia performance pieces, which engage the audience in fresh new work representing divergent points of view.

YET Jr. actors undergo an intensive, innovative, ensemble theater process of developing original characters and plays utilizing a long-form improvisational process.

YET Monologue is a new program dedicated to our theater kids taking the next step as they think about entering the world of the performing arts, and taking their theatrical training to the college level. Here, actors work on monologues for college auditions, meet with department faculty from acting conservatories, and learn what it takes to succeed in this arena.

YET Summer Institutes Provide children and teens with well-rounded training in Acting and Vocal techniques, and Stage movement.
